Overview

Conservatory Park is a 55-acre Manatee County park focused on nature-based recreation, tucked into the neighborhoods south of the Palm-Aire Country Club, just north of University Parkway. The county bought it in 2004 with help from the Florida Communities Trust under the Florida Forever program. Its mailing address says Sarasota, but it's in Manatee County.

A shaded, paved nature trail with educational signs loops past an observation deck on a 10-acre lake and over two humped bridges. eBirders have reported about 157 species, and Manatee County Audubon notes more than 25 warbler species among the park's records.
